Nova Run does not collect personal data directly, but it does show ads through Google AdMob, which is described below.
Nova Run saves a small amount of information directly on your device, using standard on-device local storage (the same technology any web browser uses to remember settings):
None of this data ever leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to any server we operate. We do not have accounts, logins, or our own analytics or tracking.
Nova Run shows ads (a banner ad and an optional "watch an ad to continue" rewarded video) using Google AdMob. To do this, AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, approximate location, and ad interaction data, and may use this to show ads (including personalized ads, where permitted). This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly.
On iOS, the first time ads are ready to load, you'll see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking whether Nova Run can track you across apps. You can allow or decline this; declining still lets you see ads, just non-personalized ones.
You can learn more about how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and about AdMob specifically at support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
Google AdMob is the only third-party service Nova Run integrates. We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Nova Run is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app shows ads via Google AdMob, users should be aware that ad-related data described above may be collected in the same way it is for any user; parents concerned about this can disable personalized ads for a device in their device's own privacy settings.
If this ever changes (for example, if a future update adds an online leaderboard or account system), this page will be updated first and the update will describe exactly what changes.
